The BASE project (Builder Artificial Surveillance Engineer), owned by Collaboration4Technology, emerged as a response to a fundamental problem in the construction industry: supervision of construction has historically remained reactive, subjective, and heavily dependent on the human factor.
Market analysis showed that most construction risks (schedule slippage, disputes over hidden works, and unjustified acceptance acts) are identified too late, while existing tools do not close this gap. BIM systems represent design intent only, Project Management (PM) tools represent planned timelines, and standard cameras provide raw video without analytics. To bridge the gap between project expectation and built reality, the Collaboration4Technology team joined forces with practicing engineers and architects. During development, they used large datasets from multiple real construction sites, while the system AI was trained on practical cases, real-world problems, and current construction standards. This deep domain immersion enabled the creation of not just another IT system, but a specialized tool that truly speaks the language of construction.
